COMMISSIONS TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms apply to all commissions through No Weird Areas.
DEFINITIONS

"I" refers to Kristy Davidson (the artist)

"You" refers to the customer of No Weird Areas

"Queue" refers to the order in which commissions are completed (i.e. waitlist)
GENERAL INFORMATION

Commissions are completed on a first-come, first-served basis according to my queue. Queue positions are not secured until you accept your quote via email (no payment is required at this stage). Quotes will be provided within 3-5 business days of submitting your request.

Sculpting is not my main source of income and does not take precedence over personal commitments or health.

I work on commissions as time and health allows, so I cannot provide approximate queue wait times or fast-track orders.

Detailed descriptions are required with reference images preferred; I do not accept "surprise/artist's choice" or ambiguous commission requests.

I will not recreate another artist's work (your own original characters excepted).

I may decline your request or suggest changes if the design is too complicated for my skill level or style.

Fanart requests are accepted at my discretion

I reserve the right to decline any request for any reason.
PAYMENT

Payment will only be requested when I am ready to proceed with your commission. Do not submit payment before confirmation.

I will confirm any final details via email before requesting payment (an updated quote will be provided if significant changes are made to the original design).

A minimum 50% deposit is required to begin work on your dragon. The remainder is due either up-front or upon completion. Your dragon will not be shipped until full payment has been received.

Payment methods accepted: Paypal, credit card, or Afterpay.

You are responsible for any duty/import/customs fees incurred during shipping.
PROCESS & DELIVERY

Rough design sketches are available upon request before sculpting begins, but the final piece may differ from the sketch.

I try to document and share parts of the process on my socials where possible. Please let me know if you prefer not to have photos shared.

Allow 3-4 weeks for completion after the initial payment (delivery times are additional). Delays due to health, work, or personal commitments may occur; I will notify you if this happens.

Due to the nature of their handmade creation, your finished sculpture may have slight imperfections or flaws such as fingerprints, marks, or dust specks. I clean these to the best of my ability prior to curing.

Photos of the finished commission will be provided before shipping.

Orders are shipped from Brisbane, Australia via Australia Post with tracking. Delivery times may vary by location. Signature on delivery is available upon request for an additional fee
DESIGN CHANGES

No design changes are accepted once a part of the dragon is sculpted, and no revisions or remakes are offered after completion. Please provide a clear and detailed description before work commences.

Designs will be interpreted in my art style. Intricate details from references may not be fully captured. Familiarise yourself with my style before commissioning as no style adjustments will be made to accommodate reference designs.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

A full refund will be issued if your order is cancelled before work begins, or if I am unable to start on your dragon.

Partial refunds are available if you cancel after work has begun. The refund will account for the time spent.
OTHER

I retain the rights to use photographs of your commissioned sculpture on any of my platforms.

You may share and post the dragon online with full credit to the artist, preferably with a link to my website or social media.

You may not alter your dragon in any way without my consent.
